So Last night I witnessed a rock and roll legend rip NYC a new asshole and plant his flag in Herald Square! Forget that I was the youngest guy there (at age 37) and that I was substantially under leathered (in both clothes and skin)...The Sliver Bullet Band, lead by Bob Seger, of my hometown, put on a fun show at MSG last night

Someone should make a compilation called "Road Songs", comprised of all the songs bands have written about how tough life on the road is. I think those songs become hits because there are so many truckers and salesmen out there who identify with the lyrics, but who ignore the fact that unlike the trucker or salesman, the songwriter has a couple of horny 18-year-olds and an 8-ball waiting at the end of his 16-hour drive.

K-Tel, the idea is all yours. Run with it; I expect some late-night commercials by the end of next month.
